Last December, we launched SHARE THE WARMTH together with Wecare, with a simple idea: for every garment purchased, we would donate one to communities in Peru.
Today, we can share the result: 2,000 garments made their way from here to Peru, reaching families living thousands of meters above sea level, where cold weather is part of everyday life.
Seeing them finally being worn marks the final step of this journey. That’s why we wanted to share it with you and, above all, thank you for being part of it.
SHARE THE WARMTH
FROM US TO PERU
Months after SHARE THE WARMTH began, the garments have finally reached the communities involved in the project.
Seeing the joy and smiles on their faces reminded us how something that may seem simple to us can mean so much to someone else.
IN THE AREQUIPA REGION
Among the places reached by the project are Tolconi, at around 4,600 metres above sea level, and Challhuanca, at around 3,600 metres: places where the cold lasts for much of the year and the distance from major towns makes everyday life more challenging for local communities.
